Two Dogs - Songs From The Trash Can

Two Dogs - Songs From The Trash Can

Two Dogs are Beat Keller on guitars and Joke Lanz on turntables and voice, both based in Berlin. An uncompromising union of two musical individualists who are shaking up the noise world.

The two Swiss musicians, oscillate between perfect dissonance and intelligent harmony. With their stripped-down instruments, Lanz and Keller create a unique language somewhere between pavement poetry and free improvisation.

Joke Lanz has been a constant in the field of experimental turntablism for decades. With his record players, he works various fragments and sound sources into new pictures. Beat Keller completes these pictures. The musician has been experimenting with his feedbacker guitar for years. It allows him to go further on his musical journey and to create sounds which would not be possible using conventional guitars.

On their debut album Songs from the Trash Can they cut thirteen rough diamonds and string them together on a ritual shaman chain. Songs from the Trash Can will be released on vinyl & digital on May 26, 2023 on Everest Records.
