The first pressing of crushed's 2023 debut EP extra life was released, paired with remixes from Real Lies and DJ Python. A love letter to '90s radio and a story that started across midnight transmissions on their respective radio shows, extra life finds musicians Bre Morell and Shaun Durkan tuning a shared taste for maximalist dream pop.

Additionally, crushed share their first official music video for the original version of "waterlily" today. Directed by Erynn Patrick, the video follows the band around LA on a double-decker bus. crushed add:

"For our first music video we really hoped to capture the essence of our favorite 90’s pop videos that have inspired this project from the start. 'waterlily' is a very sentimental song to us, and Erynn Lamont and her team did a beautiful job of bringing it to life."
