Yungblud Unleashes Epic 9-Minute Video for “Hello Heaven, Hello”

Yungblud’s “Hello Heaven, Hello” Video

Yungblud is back with a roaring rock single, “Hello Heaven, Hello,” paired with a sprawling nine-minute video. In it, the artist gallops on horseback, ignites a frenetic live show, and—quite literally—sprouts wings.

For Yungblud, rock isn’t just a sound—it’s in his blood. It’s the first genre he ever knew, shaped by childhood days in a guitar shop alongside his dad and granddad. That raw energy carved out his sense of self. Here’s what he had to say about “Hello Heaven, Hello”:

“It’s a journey toward healing. A farewell to the past—how you might’ve seen me before—and a bold wave to the future, where I’m headed. This is an odyssey: the sound’s more daring than ever. It’s meant to unfold in full—you can’t hold back or box in your imagination.”

Yungblud admits there were voices urging him to ditch the nine-minute runtime. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s a gamble—but one he sees as a golden opportunity. To him, risk is a creative’s sharpest tool; without it, innovation stalls. He penned “Hello Heaven, Hello” four years ago in a New York hotel room, wrestling with the fear he was starting to echo himself artistically.

His last album, Yungblud, hit shelves in September 2022. Since then, he’s dropped a slew of singles—including the Avril Lavigne duet “I’m a Mess”—but a new full-length record remains under wraps. In 2024, he put his spin on Kiss’s “I Was Made for Lovin’ You” for The Fall Guy soundtrack. As for the next album’s title or release date, that’s still a mystery—though “Hello Heaven, Hello” might just find a home there.
