Sergey Khomenko - UKR TANOK
After already moving audiences with profound and meaningful compositions like “Ukrainian Overture in Memory of Maestro A. Khodakovskiy,” “Overture of the Roman God Mars,” “Reflections of the Roman God Mars,” “Ukrainian Kolyadka,” and “In The Theater,” composer and musician Sergey Khomenko presents his new instrumental track “UKR TANOK” (PaKo Music Records). It's an explosion of energy and evocative sounds that pays homage to Ukraine's rich culture through an intense and engaging musical dance. The title, which means “Ukrainian Dance” in one of the dialects of the Carpathian mountain regions, embodies the very essence of the project: a bridge between folkloric heritage and modern sounds.
“UKR TANOK” unfolds as a wordless musical narrative, where each note evokes images, emotions, and fragments of history. The composition unites instruments and structures typical of Ukrainian folk music with rhythmic and harmonic elements of contemporary music, generating a unique sound mix that captivates the listener from the very first moments.

About Sergey Khomenko
Sergey Khomenko is a talented musician and composer born in Ukraine on July 9, 1967. From a young age, he showed a great passion for music, studying at the local Music School and graduating in classical guitar from the Zhytomyr Music College. He continued his education at the Kharkiv Conservatory, specializing in classical guitar.
From 1993 to 2001, Sergey lived in Prague, where he enriched his artistic and professional background. In 2001, he moved to Anzio, Italy, continuing to compose instrumental music. He has created approximately 100 compositions, exploring various genres and demonstrating remarkable versatility.
Between 2020 and 2023, Sergey collaborated with the ART FORM PRODUCTION film studio in Ukraine, contributing his music to seven television series released in Ukraine, Latvia, and Kazakhstan between 2021 and 2024.
In May 2024, he joined the roster of PaKo Music Records, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in his career. His life and work are a testament to his commitment and passion for music.
