Drake has etched his name deeper into music history, becoming the first artist to log 400 weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. The chart refreshed on Monday evening, with the rapper’s track "Nokia" holding strong in the top tier for its 16th consecutive week.

This milestone marks Drake’s second record-breaking feat of 2025. In April, he surpassed The Beatles’ longstanding record for total weeks on the Billboard 200 album chart, amassing a staggering 3,346 weeks. His seminal album "Take Care" (2011) alone lingered in the top ranks for 578 weeks, while "Nothing Was the Same" (2013) endured for 505 weeks. Other heavyweights like "Views" (2016) racked up 411 weeks, "More Life" (2017) clocked 350 weeks, and "Scorpion" (2018) stayed for 300 weeks.

Drake’s command of the Billboard charts is nothing short of legendary. He has topped the Hot 100 13 times, a record unmatched among rappers and trailing only The Beatles (20), Mariah Carey (19), and Rihanna (14) overall. Thirty of his tracks have cracked the top three, 41 have reached the top five, 80 have hit the top 10, and an astonishing 139 have landed in the top 20. Nine of his songs, including "God’s Plan" and "Nice For What," debuted at number one. His Hot 100 accolades are so numerous that Billboard dedicated an entire article in February to cataloging his achievements.

Though 2024 brought challenges—losing a high-profile feud with Kendrick Lamar and weathering flood damage to his mansion—Drake remained a streaming juggernaut. According to the IFPI, he was the second-most-streamed artist globally, bested only by Taylor Swift. In May, he set another benchmark with 10 diamond-certified singles (tracks surpassing 10 million U.S. sales), and "Nice For What" is inching toward an 11th with nine million sold. Despite setbacks, Drake’s career is steadily regaining its shine.
