Альтернатива. Україна - реальність і майбутнє

17 лютого 2015 в Брюсселі в Міністерстві закордонних справ Фландрії відбувся урочистий прийом Міжнародного культурного проекту «Альтернатива. Україна - реальність і майбутнє» за підтримки Парламенту Фландрії і Посольства України в Бельгії. Виставку відкривав посол України в Бельгії Ігор Долгов і глава кабінету міністра-президента Герта Буржуа, а також Марк Андріс. Кураторами проекту виступили Лєра Литвинова і Леонора Янко.

Почесними гостями відкриття були представники десяти посольств, європейського парламенту та дипломатичних кіл різних країн світу: Швейцарії, Бельгії, Польщі, Естонії, Канади та Хорватії та ін. Окрему подяку організатори проекту висловлюють Аллі Круглик, першому секретарю посольства України в Королівстві Бельгія. На урочистому прийомі були присутні українські художники та музиканти, які живуть в Європі, культурна еліта.

Радикальні зміни в нашій країні призвели до сплеску уваги міжнародного інформаційного співтовариства до українців, зокрема і в культурному середовищі. Складно говорити про однозначність поглядів і позицій на те, що відбувається, швидше можна підкреслити отриманий нами аванс уваги. Як наслідок, у 2014 році пройшла серія виставок в європейських країнах масштабного Міжнародного культурного проекту «Альтернатива. Україна - реальність і майбутнє».

Зараз більше сорока робіт сучасних художників до кінця місяця будуть доступні для всіх бажаючих з метою познайомитися і зрозуміти України через мову мистецтва. В рамках серії виставок були представлені роботи художника міжнародного рівня Олега Радвана, заслужених художників України Валерія Франчука, Олексія Кулакова, Наталії Папірної, іконописця Наталі Насибуліної. До участі були залучені роботи знакових сучасних авторів, таких як, пейзажистів Антона Гудзикевича і Леоніда Заборовського, концептуальних художників Тимофія Папірні та Ганни Загірної. У проекті брали участь молода художниця Юлія Насибуліна, а особливістю виставки стали роботи скульптора Анни Волошко, яка представила дві нові графіки на тему козацтва. Також у проекті брали участь і українські автори, які живуть у різних країнах Європи: Світлана Лящук-Лебига, Марина Омельченко і Надія Сенечак. Куратор проекту Лєра Литвинова також представила свої концептуальні жовто-блакитні краєвиди, які символізують прапор України.

Перша виставка «Альтернатива. Україна - реальність і майбутнє» стартувала 26 червня в Берліні в музеї Mauermuseum - Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie разом з прес-конференцією. Даний музей обраний не випадково - це потужна демократична платформа, впливова арт-інституція, в стінах якої проводили відкриті зустрічі та прес-конференції Віталій Кличко, Петро Порошенко, Михайло Ходорковський, Йоко Оно. Для створення постійної експозиції було виділено окреме приміщення, яке нині називається «Українська зала». Матеріали експозиції перекладені п’ятьма мовами світу, а відвідуваність музею - близько трьох тисяч осіб щоденно.

Продовжуючи тему міжнародного арт-діалогу, 9 вересня відбулася прес-конференція проекту та урочисте відкриття виставки в Київському національному музеї російського мистецтва з ініціативи Арт-галереї "Мануфактура" та галереї сучасного мистецтва Арт-центру Якова Гретера. У листопаді 2014 проект також успішно пройшов у Люксембурзі та м. Брюгге (Бельгія) в Українському культурному центрі.

Одним з ініціаторів проекту є Леонора Янко, директор Арт-галереї «Мануфактура» і Арт-центру Якова Гретера. На її думку, дуже важливо постійно підтримувати діалог України з Європою, особливо зараз. «Сьогодні наша країна, що потребує підтримки з боку найсильніших країн Європи, на мій погляд, вимагає правильного позиціонування. Ми хочемо показати, що Україна - це не тільки війна, але і безліч талановитих людей - художників, скульпторів, фотографів, які відкриті для діалогу зі світовою громадськістю» - говорить Леонора Янко.

 Успіх масштабного культурного проекту «Альтернатива. Україна - реальність і майбутнє» - доказ того, що українські художники затребувані і викликають інтерес у європейської аудиторії.

“Alternative. Ukraine – Reality and Future”

On the 17-th of February, in Brussels the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Flanders by support of the Flemish Parliament and the Ukrainian Embassy in Belgium hosted the opening ceremony of the International cultural project “Alternative. Ukraine – Reality and Future”. The exhibition was opened by Ambassador of Ukraine in Belgium Igor Dolgov, Minister-President of Flanders Geert Bourgeois, and Marc Andries. Curators of the project were Lera Litvinova and Leonora Janko.

The guests of honor of event were the representatives of ten embassies, the European Parliament and the diplomatic community from different countries: Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Estonia, Canada, Croatia and others. The organizers of the project expressed special thanks to Alla Kruglik, First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Belgium. The exhibition opening was also attended by Ukrainian artists and musicians who live in Europe and cultural elite.

Radical changes in our country have led to a surge of attention of the international society to Ukrainians and their culture. Despite the fact that it is hard to say that there is unambiguous assessment of Ukrainian events, the country received much attention we an advance. As a result, in 2014 there were a series of exhibitions in European countries of large-scale International cultural project “Alternative. Ukraine – Reality and Future”.

Until the end of the month more than forty works by contemporary artists will be available to everyone who wants to know and understand the Ukraine through the language of art. As part of a series of exhibitions there were presented works by the international artist Oleg Radwan, Honored Artist of Ukraine Valery Franchuk, Alexey Kulakov, Natalia Papirna, iconographer Natalie Nasybulina.

The exhibition included works by contemporary authors such as landscape painters Anton Gudzikevich and Leonid Zaborowski, conceptual artists Tymophii Papirny and Anna Zagorna, and young artist Julia Nasybulina. The distinctions of the exhibition were the art-works by sculptor Anna Voloshko, who introduced two new graphics on the Cossacks theme. Among the project’s participants were also Ukrainian artists, who live in various European countries:  Svitlana Lyaschuk-Lebiga, Maryna Omelchenko and Nadiia Senechak. Lera Litvinova, the Curator of the project, presented her conceptual yellow-blue landscape, which symbolizes the flag of Ukraine.

The first exhibition “Alternative. Ukraine – Reality and Future” was launched on the 26-th of June  in Berlin at the Museum Mauermuseum - Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie, along with a press conference. This museum was not chosen by chance. It is a powerful democratic platform and an influential art institution that held open meetings and press conferences, including ones conducted by Vitalii Klitschko, Petro Poroshenko, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Yoko Ono and others. For permanent exhibition the administration of the Museum allocated separate room, now called as “Ukrainian Hall”. Exposition’s materials were translated into five languages that made them understandable to visitors from different countries. The museum attendance was equal to about three thousand people daily.

In the line of conducting the art-dialog between Ukraine and the Europe press conference of the project and the opening of the exhibition was held in Kiev National Museum of Russian Art at the initiative of the Art Gallery "Manufacture" and modern art center of J. Grether were on the 9-th of September. In November, 2014 the project also successfully held in Luxembourg and Bruges in Belgium at the Ukrainian Cultural Center.

One of the initiators of the project is Leonora Janko, the Director of the Art Gallery "Manufacture" and Art-center of J.Grether. In her opinion, it is very important to keep the dialogue between Ukraine and Europe, especially now. "Today our country, which needs the support of the strongest countries in Europe, requires proper positioning. We want to show that Ukraine - it is not only war, but it is also a lot of talented people - artists, sculptors, photographers, who are open to dialogue with the world."- says Leonora Janko. The success of large-scale cultural project "Alternative. Ukraine - Reality and Future"- is the proof that the Ukrainian artists are interesting to European audiences.
