Ukrainian Director Wins Prestigious Award for Lady Gaga’s Music Video
A Ukrainian director and visionary clipmaker, Tanu Muino (Tetyana Muinyo), has emerged victorious at the esteemed Hollywood Music Video Awards, held in Los Angeles. She was crowned the finest director for her work on Lady Gaga’s music video.

Muino earned recognition as the best director for her mesmerizing video accompanying Lady Gaga’s track “Disease.” The video, crafted by the Ukrainian talent for the iconic American singer, also scooped an award for its exceptional makeup and hairstyling. Her creation had previously been celebrated at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan, where it won in the category of “Best Solo Artist Video.”
In Lady Gaga’s “Disease,” the singer confronts various incarnations of herself, stepping into the roles of “inner demons” as she strives to reclaim mastery over her deepest fears.
