Brief History and Influences:
Originally hailing from New Jersey, CLIFF AND IVY began their musical collaboration in the ‘80s. After relocating first to the San Francisco Bay area in 1990 then to Anchorage, Alaska in 1993, they formed an industrial band and worked with experimental sounds for theater productions and performance art. However, it was in 2011 that they truly emerged as the captivating duo we know today. Their sound is a fusion of punk, goth, industrial and deathrock, with echoes of experimental noise, art, poetry, old school hardcore, and EBM. Imagine a blend of traditional goth vibes, punk attitude, horror movie aesthetics, and industrial grit.
