Clan Of Xymox - Blood of Christ

Clan Of Xymox will release a new EP entitled ‘Blood of Christ’ on 6th December. The title song is also included on ‘Exodus’, the current album by the dark wave wizards released in June 2024, with the EP also including the brand new ‘You’re The One’ plus six remixes of each track for a total running time of 64 minutes.

Having toured extensively in mainland Europe and North America throughout 2024 to promote ‘Exodus’, the group are back on the road from January, playing dates in ten mainland European territories in the first third of 2025 that culminate with an appearance at the Dark Malta Festival in late April.

A set of shows in Mexico in early May will be followed immediately by further US touring that includes the Cruel World festival on 17th May at the Pasadena Rose Bowl in Los Angeles. The band will play UK shows in London, Manchester and at the bi-annual Tomorrow’s Ghosts Festival in Whitby in late October.

MORE ABOUT 'EXODUS'
‘Exodus’ is the 18th studio album by the dark wave and goth scene leaders. Appearing three years after the eerily echoing ‘Limbo’, an account of the pandemic and its consequences, wave wizard Ronny Moorings offers a black bouquet of mournful dirges for our sick new world that also act as a set of elegies for the new status quo.

Four decades since originally forming in the Netherlands, Moorings and his cohorts remain beacons of tragic elegance and morbid tristesse, spearheads of a scene that has attracted successive generations of new fans. ‘Exodus’ offers ten new anthems of exquisite darkness and is yet another masterpiece packed with longing melodies, brooding vocals, heavily reverbed guitars and hypnotic drums.

A darkly spellbinding exodus towards catharsis, ‘Exodus’ contains some of the deepest, darkest songs that Moorings has crafted in many years. They not only nod to his ’80s contemporaries, but also point towards the future.
