David Guetta and Sia Unveil Euphoric Anthem Beautiful People
David Guetta and Sia have joined forces once again, delivering a vibrant new single titled “Beautiful People.” The track pulses with euphoric energy, weaving together a striking rhythm and lush electronic layers that beckon the dance floor.
This duo’s partnership is nothing new—they’ve long been a creative match made in heaven. Guetta himself couldn’t hide his excitement about reuniting with Sia, calling her “one of the greatest voices and songwriters of our generation.” Their history boasts an impressive lineup of eight collaborative hits: “Titanium” (2011), “She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)” (2012), “Bang My Head” (2015), “Flames” (2018), “Helium” (2018), “Light Headed” (2018), “Let’s Love” (2020), and “Floating Through Space” (2021). As Guetta recalls, it was “Titanium” that first sparked their unique artistic bond.
Guetta’s last full album, 7, dropped back in 2018, but the DJ has hardly been idle since. He’s kept the singles coming, many of them striking gold. In 2024, he teamed up with OneRepublic for the chart-topping “I Don’t Wanna Wait”—though not without some raised eyebrows. Critics have lately taken him to task for leaning heavily on samples from classic pop tracks. That hit, for instance, borrows its melody from O-Zone’s “Dragostea Din Tei.” In 2022, he rode the nostalgia wave to success with “I’m Good (Blue),” built on Eiffel 65’s “Blue (Da Ba Dee).” Then, in 2023, “Baby Don’t Hurt Me” turned heads by sampling Haddaway’s “What Is Love?” Still, Guetta churns out far more singles than just these headline-grabbers.
As for Sia, 2024 marked her return with Reasonable Woman, her first album in three years. She’d faced a rocky patch in 2021 when her film Music flopped at the box office and drew a storm of scathing reviews, casting a shadow over her career. But the tide has turned: in 2023, she tied the knot, and Reasonable Woman boasts collaborations with heavyweights like Kylie Minogue and Labrinth, signaling a triumphant comeback.
