Google's Gemini AI Now Generates Eight-Second Videos for Instant Social Sharing

Google has granted access to its video-generative model, Veo 2, within the Gemini Advanced chatbot for users with a Google One AI Premium subscription. This new feature empowers them to create videos lasting up to eight seconds with a 720p resolution.

Content can be instantly uploaded to platforms like TikTok or YouTube, thanks to an integrated «Share» button. Currently, the model exclusively supports the 16:9 aspect ratio. When videos are saved, they are automatically converted to the MP4 format.

A monthly limit is in place regarding the number of videos users can generate. They will receive notifications as they approach this limit. To create a video using Gemini, users need to provide the chatbot with a detailed description of the desired story, visual concept, or scene.

«With its enhanced understanding of the physical world and human motion, it [Veo 2] delivers smoother character movements, more realistic scenes, and intricate visual details across a wide range of narratives and styles,» Google stated.

The advanced artificial intelligence version, Gemini Advanced, is available to subscribers of the Google One AI Premium plan, which is priced at $19.99 per month.
