Stray Kids have made a striking return with their Japanese single "Hollow," accompanied by a music video that weaves together a tapestry of melancholy and exuberance. The visuals, ever true to the group’s hallmark style, pulse with their electrifying choreography, delivering a performance that is both haunting and vivid.

In under a day, "Hollow" soared past two million views on YouTube, climbing to the eighth spot on the platform’s trending list. Fans have embraced the video with open hearts, with some already heralding it as one of the group’s finest works. Certain viewers have glimpsed a deeper layer in "Hollow," seeing it as a metaphor for the dual nature of fame—a dazzling yet perilous existence under the spotlight.

"Hollow" serves as the lead track for Stray Kids’ upcoming Japanese EP of the same name, set to be released on June 18. This marks their first Japanese mini-album in nearly two years, following the release of "Social Path / Super Bowl" in September 2023. The group has also gifted their Japanese audience two full-length albums: "The Sound" in 2023 and "Giant" in 2024.

Earlier this year, in March, Stray Kids unveiled "Mixtape: Dominate." Though labeled a mixtape, this single-album boasts five tracks, with the eight members pairing up to create collaborative gems. Notable duets include Felix and Han’s "Truman" and Changbin and I.N’s "Burnin’ Tires." The release also features a Korean rendition of "Giant." Just before the mixtape’s debut, Stray Kids etched their name in history as the first K-pop act to earn five "gold" albums on U.S. charts.

Throughout 2024, the group kept their momentum blazing with the mini-album "Ate," a hip-hop-infused mixtape titled "Hop," and the track "Slash," which found a home in the soundtrack for "Deadpool & Wolverine." In a playful nod to the film, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman made a cameo in the group’s "Chk Chk Boom" video. By year’s end, Stray Kids stood tall among the top five most successful artists of 2024, trailing only Taylor Swift, Drake, Seventeen, and Billie Eilish. Their album "Ate" also secured a spot in the year’s top ten most popular albums.
