Arthur Nasson - Without A Clue

Critically acclaimed recording artist Arthur Nasson delivers a lyric video for the single “Without A Clue”:

It seemed too important not  to address that in many ways the United States continues to head into a place incongruous to its history.

I felt compelled to address the mentality of people who could be so easily duped into doing things blatantly against their own interest ,freedoms, rights  and country.

The two characters in the song are cartoonishly delusional people, convinced of something so obviously false it resides somewhere between amusing and alarming.

I wanted to approach writing about this in a way that wasn’t topical, but somehow chronicled this moment. There was the desire to paint a picture of sorts.

Radio stations in a number of countries continue to add  the propulsive bordering on Jazzy rock track.

NYC’s Rock and Roll Globe  magazine drew comparisons to Steely Dan in their feature of the single.

In some extraordinarily sweeping way, stupidity is being embraced in the U.S. and given legitimacy while expertise, knowledge and even common sense are all being sidelined.

So, while deranged ,evil little monsters seem to be wandering freely, kick back and enjoy “Without A Clue” all the while knowing that positive change is on the way.
