Megan Thee Stallion Turns Heads into Fish in “Whenever” Video
Megan Thee Stallion has unleashed “Whenever,” a fiery new track accompanied by a visually striking music video. In the clip, the rapper wreaks havoc at a reception desk, transforms unsuspecting visitors into fish, and later cruises through a desert behind the wheel of a car.
Marking her first solo release of 2025, “Whenever” follows her collaboration with Blackpink’s Lisa on the track “Rapunzel.” The single may signal the start of a fresh chapter, as Stallion hinted in December at the upcoming release of the third installment of her “Megan” album series.
Her latest project, “Megan,” dropped in June 2024, with its second part, “Megan: Act II,” arriving in October. Both were released under Stallion’s own Hot Girl Productions, a bold move after parting ways with 1501 Entertainment and 300 Entertainment in 2023 amid prolonged disputes. The “Megan” album spawned the chart-topping diss track “Hiss,” aimed at Nicki Minaj, which soared to the top of the Billboard Hot 100. “Megan: Act II” featured a remix of “Mamushi” with Twice and the RM-assisted BTS duet “Neva Play.” Shortly after the second act’s debut, Stallion released a documentary, “Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words,” offering an intimate look at her journey.
While no release date has been set for the third part of “Megan,” Stallion has expressed interest in collaborating with Doechii, the artist behind the hit “Anxiety.” In April, she took the stage at Coachella 2025 on the 13th and 20th, joined by icons Queen Latifah, Ciara, and Victoria Monét. Currently, Stallion is filming “KPopped,” a musical show alongside Psy of “Gangnam Style” fame, produced by Apple TV. A premiere date for the series remains under wraps.
