Benson Boone and Queen’s Brian May Perform “Bohemian Rhapsody” at Coachella 2025
Benson Boone, celebrated for his breakout hit “Beautiful Things,” took the stage at Coachella 2025 to deliver a rousing rendition of Queen’s iconic “Bohemian Rhapsody.” He was joined by none other than Brian May, Queen’s legendary guitarist, who lent his virtuosic strums to the performance.
Just two months prior, on February 4, Boone had commanded attention at the 2025 Grammy Awards. Though he didn’t win a trophy, his electrifying set—marked by a dramatic costume change and dynamic stage presence—went viral across social media. Fans began drawing parallels between Boone and Freddie Mercury, noting similarities in their theatrical flair and faint echoes in their appearance. Now, Boone has brought that comparison full circle, singing Queen’s timeless anthem alongside one of the band’s own. During his Coachella set, Boone seized the moment to announce his sophomore album, “American Heart,” slated for release on June 20.
