Damiano David, the 26-year-old vocalist of Måneskin, has unveiled his debut solo album, «Funny Little Fears». The collection features 14 songs, including the previously released singles «Silverlines», «Born with a Broken Heart», «Next Summer», and «Voices».

The track «Silverlines» saw collaboration with the renowned English musician Labrinth, known for creating the soundtrack for the series «Euphoria» (2019 – present). On «The Bruise», David is joined by vocals from actress Suki Waterhouse, and Noah Cyrus, sister of Miley Cyrus, co-wrote the song. Dove Cameron, the American actress and musician who has been in a relationship with Damiano David for a year and a half, is credited as a co-writer on «Zombie Lady».

Initial reactions to «Funny Little Fears» have been moderately positive. According to Kerrang! magazine, the album lacks significant flaws, but its success will hinge on the open-mindedness of David's fanbase. DIY Magazine suggests that «Funny Little Fears» reveals a softer side of the singer, describing the record as beautiful yet predictable. NME's reviewer gave Damiano David a four-star rating, identifying him as a potential rival to Harry Styles and characterizing his music as «sophisticated pop».

Currently, «Funny Little Fears» holds the top spot on iTunes in four countries: Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, and Hungary. Damiano David's solo tour is set to commence on September 11th, with 34 concerts planned across Europe, Australia, Latin America, the USA, and Canada. Måneskin fans have expressed concerns about the band's future, fearing a potential breakup. However, according to Damiano David, Måneskin is not disbanding; the members are simply exploring solo projects. Their latest album to date, «Rush!», was released in early 2023.
