"Freakier Friday 2" Trailer Brings Back the Body-Swap Magic
Disney has unveiled the first trailer for Freakier Friday 2, a spirited sequel to the beloved comedy classic.
Once again, Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis take the spotlight. The story follows Anna (Lohan), who finds herself swapping bodies with her teenage daughter, Harper. Meanwhile, Anna’s mother, Tess (Curtis), ends up inhabiting the frame of 14-year-old Lily, the daughter of Eric, a British restaurateur set to wed Anna.
Steering the film is director Nisha Ganatra, known for On the Air. The sequel boasts a lively cast, including Chad Michael Murray, Mark Harmon, Manny Jacinto, Julia Butters, and more.
The original Freakier Friday hit screens in 2003, inspired by Mary Rodgers’ book of the same name. That film raked in $160 million at the global box office, cementing its place as a fan favorite.
