Post Malone and Morgan Wallen Release New Single «I Ain’t Comin Back»
Post Malone and country sensation Morgan Wallen have unveiled their latest collaboration, the single «I Ain’t Comin Back». The track will feature on Wallen’s forthcoming album, «I’m the Problem», set for release on May 16.
This marks the second duet for the pair, following their chart-dominating hit «I Had Some Help». That earlier collaboration reigned atop the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks, clinched awards at the Billboard Music Awards and iHeartRadio Music Awards, and earned nominations for a Grammy and Brit Awards. With such a track record, «I Ain’t Comin Back» is poised for success—it’s already claimed the top spot on iTunes charts in the US and Canada.
Morgan Wallen remains a towering figure in country music. According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), he ranked 13th among the year’s most successful artists. His 2023 album, «One Thing at a Time», landed in the top 10 best-selling releases of 2024. «I’m the Problem» will be his first full-length project in two years, featuring contributions from Post Malone and pop artist Tate McRae, who appears on the track «What I Want».
Post Malone’s most recent album, «F-1 Trillion», dropped in August 2024, marking his bold pivot from hip-hop and pop-rock to country. The record boasts collaborations with country heavyweights like Dolly Parton, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, and Luke Combs, alongside Wallen. «F-1 Trillion» soared to the top of the Billboard 200, garnered two Grammy nominations, and earned a place on several best-of-2024 country album lists, including Billboard’s.
