Ethan Coen’s latest comedy, “Honey Don’t!”, is slated to hit U.S. theaters on August 22, according to The Hollywood Reporter, citing Focus Features.
The film stars Margaret Qualley, Chris Evans, and Aubrey Plaza, with Qualley playing Honey, a sharp-witted detective unraveling a string of mysterious deaths tied to a powerful church and its charismatic leader, portrayed by Evans.
“Honey Don’t!” will make its world premiere out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival. Coen co-wrote the screenplay with his wife, Tricia Cooke. The Oscar-winning director’s last solo outing, “Drive-Away Dolls”, released in 2024, sparked mixed reactions from critics, setting the stage for anticipation around this new project.
