Aespa Unveils "Dirty Work" Performance Video
Aespa has dropped an electrifying performance video for their track "Dirty Work," filmed entirely on an iPhone 16 Pro. The video showcases the group members' dynamic choreography as they dance with raw energy in a desolate warehouse, highlighting their sharp, synchronized movements.
While the song "Dirty Work" isn't yet available on streaming platforms – it's set to release on June 27 at 7 AM Moscow time – the performance video has already ignited significant buzz for Aespa's forthcoming single. Fans are showering praise on the track's "fiery" beat and the members' stunning visuals, with Winter's look receiving particular acclaim. Within just two hours, the "Dirty Work" video garnered 400,000 views, a strong indicator of its appeal even for a non-official music video.
"Dirty Work" marks Aespa's first single of 2025. The song features a roster of notable collaborators, including Evan Blair, known for his work with Rosé of Blackpink and Benson Boone. Elisha Noll, who has worked with 5 Seconds of Summer, and Imlay, a songwriter for NCT 127 and Riize, also contributed to the track. According to Genius, "Dirty Work" is expected to be released in multiple versions: Korean, English, and a remix featuring American rapper Flo Milli.
A year ago, in May 2024, Aespa released their debut and only album to date, "Armageddon." The album garnered over a million pre-orders, and its lead single "Supernova" soared to the top of the South Korean charts. In October, the group followed up with the EP "Whiplash," which also enjoyed chart success, with its title track reaching number two in Korea. Shortly before "Whiplash," Aespa unveiled "Synk: Parallel Line," officially a single album but functionally an EP. It featured four tracks, one for each group member, and Karina's song "Up" became a hit across South Korea, Taiwan, and other Asian countries.
