Jurassic World: Rebirth Trailer - Scarlett Johansson and Dinosaurs -

Universal has released the first trailer for Jurassic World: Rebirth. This is the seventh installment in Steven Spielberg's iconic franchise. The plot follows a group of researchers who embark on a dangerous island to obtain DNA from the three largest dinosaurs. The main roles are played by Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali.

The film takes place five years after the events of the previous chapter, Jurassic World: Dominion (2022). Dinosaurs inhabit only specific regions with a suitable climate. After all, living conditions in most of the Earth turned out to be unfavorable for prehistoric creatures.

A group of brave scientists penetrates the isolated territory of dinosaurs. They must extract DNA from the eggs of three giant creatures to develop a revolutionary medicine. The outcome of the expedition can once and for all change the whole world. During the adventure, they encounter a family in trouble. Together they get stuck on an island teeming with hungry predators. The heroes must find a way to return home and, in the meantime, uncover secrets about early experiments - it seems, from the time of the first Jurassic Park (1993).

The expedition is led by secret operations expert Zora Bennett (Johansson). Zora is joined by paleontologist Henry Loomis (Bailey) and her longtime friend Duncan Kincaid (Ali, Green Book).

The new Jurassic World was directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story). The script was written by the author of the original Jurassic Park, David Koepp. Steven Spielberg serves as producer. The film will show a scene cut from Jurassic Park. In this moment, the heroes will swim on a raft, trying not to wake the sleeping Tyrannosaurus. In the end, the beast will wake up and rush after them. In Michael Crichton's novel Jurassic Park (1990), paleontologist Alan Grant, as well as Tim and Alexis "Lex" - the grandchildren of Jurassic Park creator John Hammond - found themselves in such a situation.

Jurassic World: Rebirth will be released in theaters worldwide on July 2.
