Much like its predecessor, this series thrives on an ensemble cast—no single star hogging the stage, just a handful of crisscrossing lives under the lens. Details about Oscar’s arc remain tightly under wraps, and there’s no word yet on whether other familiar faces from The Office will pop in.
In The Office, Oscar crunched numbers as an accountant at the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin, the quirky paper supplier. The spin-off shifts the scene to the fading world of a newspaper staff, with the same mockumentary crew—fresh off chronicling Michael Scott’s team (Steve Carell)—now poking their cameras into this new workplace.
