Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 Episode Lengths Revealed

Marvel Television has pulled back the curtain on the episode lengths for the first season of Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+, and each installment clocks in at just under an hour. The debut episode steals the crown as the longest of the bunch.

This nine-episode revival of the Netflix Daredevil (2015–2018) matches the episode count already greenlit for its confirmed second season. According to Comic Book Movie, no episode stretches beyond the 60-minute mark. The fifth installment proves the shortest at a brisk 39 minutes, while the premiere and finale—the first and ninth episodes—lead the pack at 58 and 57 minutes, respectively.

Daredevil: Born Again kicks off on March 4 with a double-episode drop, followed by a near-weekly rollout of single episodes. The exception? Episodes five and six, which land together on March 25. Here’s the full lineup for Season 1, complete with runtimes and premiere dates:

  • Episode 1: March 4 – 58 minutes
  • Episode 2: March 4 – 47 minutes
  • Episode 3: March 11 – 44 minutes
  • Episode 4: March 18 – 52 minutes
  • Episode 5: March 25 – 39 minutes
  • Episode 6: March 25 – 42 minutes
  • Episode 7: April 1 – 40 minutes
  • Episode 8: April 8 – 47 minutes
  • Episode 9: April 15 – 57 minutes

Critics have already given Daredevil: Born Again a warm nod, praising it as a gritty, gloriously dark action flick brimming with ferocious fight scenes.

Set six years after the events of the original Daredevil, the series follows Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) as he juggles his day job as a lawyer with his nighttime crusade as the vigilante Daredevil. He teams up with the Punisher, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal), for fresh battles, while mafia kingpin Kingpin, Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), sets his sights on New York’s mayoral throne.
