Mark Ruffalo and John Malkovich to Star in Martin McDonagh's New Film

The cast of Martin McDonagh's upcoming film has grown: John Malkovich and Mark Ruffalo have joined the previously announced Sam Rockwell. The film itself is titled Wild Horse Nine. Filming is scheduled to begin this spring on Easter Island.

The plot is being kept strictly secret, and the world release date has not yet been announced. Work on Wild Horse Nine has been underway since 2021 and has been postponed for various reasons. Let's hope that everything works out for the film this year.

Filming will begin in March on Easter Island (Rapa Nui), which is a nature reserve with an area of 3,700 km. This area is famous for its unparalleled cultural landscape and is also the most remote inhabited island on Earth. Rapa Nui National Park largely retains its pristine appearance, as it has not been subjected to human intervention since the end of the 19th century.

Production is being handled by Blueprint Pictures, Film4 and Searchlight.

Malkovich and Ruffalo will star in a McDonagh film for the first time, while Rockwell could be seen in the film "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri."
