JASON GRIER - found sound (2016)
Somewhere between historical reconstruction and Mego-inflected noisewall. Timely single that compiles glitching livestreams from the night of the US presidential election in 2016. Edited by Jason Grier in Paris in 2024. Mastered in Dolby Atmos by Enyang Urbiks at Funkhaus Berlin in 2024.
In 2025 Grier will release new full-length album of found, commissioned, and ambient sound in a similar vein between noise music and activism.
This single will be released on hem's Bandcamp and SoundCloud accounts ONLY on October 29th, 2024, one week before the US presidential election. If you're a US citizen anywhere: VOTE.
