Ukrainian version

Your new single, "Come te," addresses the topic of misunderstanding. What personal experience led you to write it?

It was a particularly difficult experience to confront, but it pertains to my private life, and I'd prefer not to discuss it publicly.

Your musical style transforms within the song. How important is musical experimentation to you?

It's very important. I enjoy blending sounds and genres, and in this piece, I do so quite distinctly.

What does it mean to you to communicate through music, especially in an increasingly digital world?

Music is communication. If you create music without communicating something, it becomes a mere exercise in style, and that, in addition to being very cold, is a futile practice.

You're an artist over 40. How do you feel your musical journey at a stage in life when many believe the market is dominated by younger musicians?

The market has always been dominated by younger people, or rather: it's dominated by cunning old foxes who tell young people what to do, showering them with compliments and kind words, only to exploit them to the bone and then discard them, replacing them with others who are younger.

You collaborate with established musicians and producers like Roberto Cola. How do these collaborations come about, and how much do they influence the final result?

It all began when a record executive recommended Roberto (whom I didn't know). After speaking with him a couple of times, I was convinced to collaborate with him. I'm not sure how much they influence it, but the final result certainly seems good to me.

Is there an audience or a country, that particularly inspires you with its culture or music?

I'm fascinated by the Caucasian and Central Asian peoples. Musically, they greatly attract me!

What are the biggest challenges you've faced as an artist in today's music scene?

The biggest challenge is to present oneself credibly to the public. Unfortunately, this isn't always achieved, and it's difficult to be taken seriously.

If you had to describe "Come te" with a single visual image, what would it be and why?

It would be the image of two hugging people because communication brings us closer and unites us.

Your music always seems to contain a mix of contrasting emotions. How important is it for you to balance sadness and hope in your songs?

It depends on the song. It's not essential to balance feelings in songs, but it's crucial to utilize all the emotions that the song demands.

What is the main message you want to leave with listeners of "Come te," especially those who might be hearing it for the first time in Ukraine?

"Come te" is a song that changes musically, the lyrics of which emphasize the importance of communication. Trying to change and begin to communicate in the right way is the message I would like to deliver.
