Linkin Park Unleash Explosive Single «Up From The Bottom»
Linkin Park have ignited the airwaves with their electrifying new single «Up From The Bottom», accompanied by a gripping music video. The clip captures the band delivering a raw, high-energy performance in a confined space that morphs dramatically by the end.
The track was first teased on March 19, with the band boldly declaring it their finest work yet—and its video their best visual creation to date. Stepping behind the lens was Joe Hahn, Linkin Park’s DJ, who’s been shaping the band’s cinematic legacy since the days of «One Step Closer» and «In the End».
«Up From The Bottom» is the first taste of new music since the November 15 release of their album «From Zero». Fans won’t have to wait long for more—the band has an expanded edition of the record slated for May 16, featuring two fresh tracks, «Unshatter» and «Let You Fade», plus a handful of live cuts. Sharing a glimpse into their creative process, Linkin Park revealed:
«The song ‘Up From The Bottom’ came together between tour dates this year, soaking up the raw energy of our first shows after a long hiatus. ‘Let You Fade’ started taking shape during the ‘From Zero’ sessions but found its true form in post-release jams. ‘Unshatter’ was an early spark from the ‘From Zero’ days—Emily’s [vocalist Emily Armstrong] commanding bridge gave us a glimpse of what we could achieve together.»
Linkin Park hit the road for the From Zero World Tour back in mid-September, two months before «From Zero» dropped. They’re currently on a break, with their next gig set for April 26 in Austin, Texas. The tour spans an ambitious 72 dates, wrapping up on November 11 in Brasília, Brazil’s capital.
