Warner Bros. Unveils First Trailer for Horror Film Final Destination Bloodlines

Warner Bros. has dropped the first trailer for the chilling new chapter in the beloved horror franchise, «Final Destination Bloodlines». In this sixth installment, an entire family finds itself ensnared in Death’s relentless cycle. Helping them navigate the grim rules of this deadly game is the enigmatic undertaker William Bludworth, portrayed by Tony Todd, known for his role in «Candyman». This marks the final performance of the actor, who passed away in 2023 at the age of 69.

The film follows college student Stephanie Lewis, who has a haunting premonition of her entire family’s demise. Soon after, her relatives begin to perish one by one in what appear to be tragic accidents. Desperate to save her loved ones, Stephanie turns to the mysterious William Bludworth for guidance. Fans of the series will recognize Bludworth as the cryptic figure who, in the first, second, and fifth films of «Final Destination» (2000, 2003, 2011), revealed to the protagonists how they might outwit Death itself.

The curse haunting the Lewis family traces its origins back to the 1960s. Stephanie learns from her grandmother, Iris, that she once foresaw a catastrophic disaster and managed to survive. Yet, for reasons unknown, Death has returned in the 2020s to claim Iris’s family, sparing no one in its path. Whether Iris herself remains on Death’s list is a mystery yet to be unraveled.

The global premiere of «Final Destination Bloodlines» is set for May 16.
