Lobo’s Motorcycle Revealed in «Supergirl» Movie

Jason Momoa has spilled some thrilling details about his role as Lobo in the upcoming «Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow». The alien bounty hunter will roar onto the screen in true comic-book fashion—complete with his legendary motorcycle.

Once the king of the seas as Aquaman in the old DC cinematic universe, Momoa now trades tridents for chains under the fresh vision of DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran. Their rebooted franchise welcomes new faces, though Peacemaker Season 2 (slated for August) keeps its original crew. Clearly impressed by Momoa’s chops in the Aquaman films (2018, 2023), Gunn and Safran tapped the 45-year-old star to embody Lobo—a character he’s long adored.

A self-proclaimed Lobo fanatic, Momoa is determined to nail the mercenary’s gritty essence. Chatting with Screen Rant, he shared his excitement: “I’ve dreamed of playing this guy—those comics were everything to me. I’m a bundle of nerves, but this role fits me like a glove. He’s a big, rugged brute with a deathly vibe—and yeah, he’s got that killer bike.”

Stepping into Supergirl’s boots is Milly Alcock, fresh from House of the Dragon (2022–present). The film draws inspiration from Tom King’s 2021–2022 comic run Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. In it, Supergirl and her trusty super-dog Krypto embark on a cosmic quest, crossing paths with an alien named Ruthye. Together, they tackle a mission that’s out of this world. Oh, and keep an eye out—Supergirl’s set to pop up in Superman (hitting theaters July 11) too, being his cousin and all.

Mark your calendars: Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow blasts into theaters worldwide on June 26, 2026.
