HTRK - Marry Me Tonight repress & String of Hearts EP

HTRK, the Australian duo of Jonnine Standish and Nigel Yang, walked into their 21st year on reflective terms. Surviving two decades in music is no easy feat; there are highs across the lows, but the lows have been staggering, losing a band member for one. Amidst, and despite it all, HTRK (or "hate rock" if informed) have built a world around themselves and somehow keep getting better. 

To mark the anniversary, alongside a series of performances and installations, they announce the repress of their full-length debut, Marry Me Tonight, out February 7th on Ghostly International and also finally reaching streaming services. Limited edition pink + black vinyl is up for pre-order.

Plus, HTRK have let some of their biggest fans cover their works as they see fit. New interpretations from Liars, Loraine James, Perila, and Double Virgo (bar italia) now comprise String of Hearts, an EP pairing the covers with originals. The contours of HTRK's singular, smoldering songcraft extend and distort in the hands of others, part peer tribute, part fun-house reflection; the effect is befitting of a band devoted to raw emotion, self-discovery, and unrestrained creative vision.
