Blackpink to Tour in 2025

Blackpink Announces 2025 World Tour

Blackpink has announced a world tour for 2025 and released a 21-second teaser for the upcoming tour. The countries and cities where the concerts will take place, how many there will be, and when tickets will go on sale have not yet been announced.

Talk of a Blackpink tour has been going on for a long time. Back in September, their label YG Entertainment hinted at a new release and concerts in 2025. In December, Rosé, a member of the group, announced plans to release an album and go on tour. And in August, Lisa Manoban, her Blackpink colleague, denied rumors of the group's breakup. According to the singer, the group is needed both by its many fans and by the artists themselves.

Now fans are waiting for Blackpink to present new material, or at least announce it. The group's last album to date, "Born Pink," was released in September 2022, almost two and a half years ago. Many are sure: fresh hits are simply necessary for a Blackpink tour. After "Born Pink," the group released only one single, "The Girls" - the soundtrack to the game Blackpink: The Game.

Currently, the members of Blackpink are busy with solo projects. In 2024, Rosé presented the album "Rosie" with the super hit "Apt," recorded with Bruno Mars. Jisoo's EP "Amortage" will be released on February 14, and on February 7 she can already be seen in the zombie series "Newtopia." Lisa Manoban is also trying her hand at acting: on February 16, the premiere of the third season of "The White Lotus" (2021 - present) with the participation of the singer will take place. Two weeks later, on February 28, Lisa will present her solo album "Alter Ego." And on March 7, Jennie Kim's album "Ruby" will be released. Thus, very soon all members of the group will release their own release.

At the end of 2023, Blackpink refused to renew their solo contracts with YG Entertainment, but signed a group agreement with the label. At the same time, the official debut of YG's new girl group, BabyMonster, took place. In 2024, BabyMonster released the EP "BabyMons7er" and the album "Drip." And in the same year, YG announced the return of the iconic group 2NE1, with whom Blackpink was often compared. Now K-pop fans suspect that the label's affairs are not going well: first they brought back 2NE1, and now they want to bring back Blackpink.
