«Arcane» Creators Unveil Stunning Video for Ma Meilleure Ennemie

Ma Meilleure Ennemie Video Drops from «Arcane»

The infectious track Ma Meilleure Ennemie, performed by Belgian artist Stromae and French singer Pomme, has taken the internet by storm—and now it’s got an official music video to match. Born from the Arcane universe, the clip, released by Riot Games and Fortiche Production, racked up over 4 million YouTube views in under 24 hours.

Behind the lens is Tom Guille, fresh off his 2025 Annie Award win for character animation. The video’s artistry reflects the song’s meteoric rise—after debuting in Arcane’s second season on Netflix, it’s clocked over 10 million daily streams, landing in Spotify’s global top 3 and ruling radio waves in France and Belgium. Billboard notes it’s also the first time Stromae and Pomme have cracked the Hot 100’s top ten.

Fortiche weaves reality and fiction with flair, slipping in nods to the artists’ legacies. Watch closely—at 0:40, you’ll catch a sly reference to Pomme’s debut À peu près, while 0:31 echoes the cover of Stromae’s 2022 gem Multitude. These touches bridge their real-world artistry with Arcane’s imagined realm.

For the uninitiated, Arcane is Netflix’s animated triumph, spun from Riot Games’ League of Legends. Across two seasons, it plunges into the divided cities of Zaun—a gritty, crime-riddled underbelly—and Piltover, its gleaming counterpart. The story orbits sisters Powder and Vi, torn apart after their parents perish in a failed uprising. When their adoptive father falls to a Zaun crime lord, the sisters’ bond shatters, setting them on opposing paths amid Piltover’s Hextech revolution—a magic-wielding innovation.

The video zeroes in on a pivotal Arcane moment: Powder and Ekko’s dance, where the song first captivated viewers. In the series, Ekko slips into an alternate reality free of Hextech and war, where Zaun thrives and he and Powder share love instead of enmity. Yet, bound by duty to save his true world, Ekko can’t linger. Their dance—a swirl of strength and sorrow—captures his heart-wrenching resolve, brought to life through Guille’s evocative animation.
