Skrillex has unleashed a bold new album titled «F**k U Skrillex You Think Ur Andy Warhol But Ur Not!» onto the world. The sprawling tracklist boasts 34 songs, weaving in collaborations with the likes of Dylan Brady from 100 gecs, Boys Noize, Sigur Rós’s Jónsi, Starrah, and Majestic.

It first dropped on April 1 under the shorthand «FUS», shared via a link for fans—leaving some to chalk it up as an April Fool’s prank. But by evening, the album landed on streaming platforms, proving it was no jest. Despite its hefty track count, it clocks in at a lean 46-and-a-half minutes.

The release comes hot on the heels of Skrillex’s declaration last month that he’d go “independent” after his next project with Atlantic Records. Looking to 2025, he’s got more works brewing, free from label reins — though he finds the word “independent” a touch odd, given his reliance on his team and fellow creatives.

Skrillex’s last outing, «Don’t Get Too Close», hit two years back on February 18, 2023, just a day after «Quest for Fire» — his first album in nine years since «Recess» (2014). This latest drop keeps the momentum rolling.

On March 29, Skrillex took the stage at the Ultra electronic festival, his first appearance there in a decade. His set blended classics like «Bangarang» with fresh cuts, joined by Damien Marley, Young Niko, and NAISHA. Next up, he’s slated to perform in South Korea in late April, followed by China on May 3.
