Alice Cooper has brought back the original Alice Cooper Band for a remarkable reunion, culminating in a new album titled The Revenge of Alice Cooper. Slated for release on July 25, this marks the band’s first collaborative work in over five decades, since their 1973 album Muscle of Love.

The album is produced by Bob Ezrin, a longtime collaborator who shaped the band’s iconic sound on classics like Love It to Death (1971), Killer (1971), School’s Out (1972), and Billion Dollar Babies (1973). Reflecting on the project, Cooper shared:

“It felt like we were picking up right after Muscle of Love. Just like, ‘Alright, here’s the next album.’ Isn’t it wild after 50 years? Everything just falls back into place.”

Cooper also released a teaser for the upcoming record, building anticipation for the release.

Here’s the tracklist for The Revenge of Alice Cooper:

  1. Black Mamba

  2. Wild Ones

  3. Up All Night

  4. Kill The Flies

  5. One Night Stand

  6. Blood On The Sun

  7. Crap That Gets In The Way Of Your Dreams

  8. Famous Face

  9. Money Screams

  10. What A Syd

  11. Inter Galactic Vagabond Blues

  12. What Happened To You

  13. I Ain’t Done Wrong

  14. See You On The Other Side

  15. Return of the Spiders 2025 (bonus track)

  16. Titanic Overunderture (bonus track)

The album features the original lineup> lineup: guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway, and drummer Neal Smith. Remarkably, it even includes the late guitarist Glen Buxton, who passed away in 1997, with a riff from an old demo tape woven into the track “What Happened to You.” Nashville-based guitarist Jacy Hughes also contributed to the project.

According to producer Bob Ezrin, the band’s dynamic remains strikingly unchanged despite the passage of time. While the musicians have naturally grown older and wiser, their chemistry feels as if they’ve just stepped out of their high school years. This album captures a nostalgic return to the raw energy of their youth, when they first came together to create music.

Alice Cooper’s most recent album, Road, released in 2023 and featuring Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine, earned widespread critical acclaim.
